Menu: special of the week

Design agency The President’s new magazine Menu: Cape Town’s 167 best dishes was hand-picked by magazine guru and London-based blogger Jeremy Leslie as the best magazine of the week.

On his blog magCulture.com Jeremy said: “Typically of The President, the magazine mixes strong typography and photography alongside references to traditional African repeat patterning. Quirky but unpretentious, Menu shows what can be done with high-quality content, clear ambition and strong design and editing."

But it’s not just the international set cooing over the publication. After it was distributed with the September issue of Woolworths TASTE, Saffas have also been licking their lips in delight.

The President team, who are currently prepping for a foodie adventure in Buenos Aires, are busy compiling the next issue, an edition dedicated to the South American city.
