FoodWineDesign Fair

October 17, 2011   Tags: food, design, fair

The 2nd FoodWineDesign Fair is around the corner: from 25 – 27 November, the roof of Hyde Park Corner will be transformed into a magic space showcasing South Africa’s best artisanal products.

This year, some of the highlights include:

Designer Chloe Townsend’s The Owl and the Pussycat Spring/Summer collection, which will be on show. This Missibaba collection of leather handbags is island-inspired, with a focus on graphic patterns and bold colours.

Dark Horse, a new design spot in the Mother City, stocks an exciting range of locally made, eco-conscious furniture and apparel. They’ll be bringing a selection of their hand-dyed hemp linen bags and furniture to the Fair.

Portuguese wine label Howard’s Folly, the result of a collaboration between businessman Howard Bilton and winemaker David Baverstock, is a perfect with for the Fair, which promises to be a fantastic get-together spot to usher in the Festive Season.

Fair times:

Friday, 25 November: 1pm – 10pm
Saturday, 26 November: 10am – 10pm
Sunday, 27 November: 10am – 5pm
