Hidden wonders

The current ‘hidden themed’ VISI issue triggered the treasure hunter in me to delve into my immediate environment and rustle up the hidden details that brighten up the brick and mortar my city is made of.

Within less than a 500m radius in the Mother City’s centre, I managed to discover more than a dozen details that demand passers-by to stop, stare and notice these delicate features hidden within the city walls. Arch modernist, Mies van der Rohe wasn’t lying when he declared ‘god is in the detail’…
