WORDS Mary Garner
Raya Sader Bujana is a Lebanese-Venezuelan paper artist and designer based in Barcelona.
After studying architecture at the Central University of Venezuela, she started to focus on creating paper artworks. Her latest series features a fun range of tiny paper flowers and cacti, all encased in miniature glass terrariums. These hand-cut, hand-made micro sculptures measure a mere 4 cm high.
“My work is very influenced by my strong background in architecture, my love of nature, and its intricate patterns,” says Raya on her Etsy page.
