1. Dinara Kasko’s Cakes

“We can’t get enough of this pastry chef’s mathematical cake designs,” says Social Media Manager Ashraf Booley. “Most of the cake designs begin as a collaboration with mathematicians or sculptors who help develop the patterns.”

2. Tiny Doors

“Tiny Doors ATL is a project that was started in Atlanta in the USA by artist Karen Anderson,” says Online Editor Lindi Brownell Meiring. “These tiny installations, which measure just over 15 cm high, aim to inspire curiosity and exploration in the community.”

3. Veuve Clicquot’s Magnetic Arrow

“The new limited edition Clicquot Magnetic Arrow is the latest addition to Veuve Clicquot’s sought-after Journey project,” says Features Editor Amelia Brown. “The Clicquot Magnetic Arrow (R629 at leading liquor merchants) retraces Madame Clicquot’s steps to six renowned destinations around the world – namely Paris, New York, Sydney, Tokyo, Milan and London.”

4. K.Light’s Apple Floor Lamps

“These energy-saving LED lamps from K.Light illuminate a room from the floor up,” says Managing Editor Samantha Charles. “I just love the apple-inspired design.”

Iaka Kame, Aka Uroko and Aka Mujik Ceramics by Kenzo Takada

“These earthenware vases, created by Japanese designer Kenzo Takada, were all turned by hand,” says Editor-In-Chief Sumien Brink. “During the fourth firing of these enamel creations, the geometric matte gold patterns are placed using a sponge.”
