From a colourful basketball court and a local clothing line to desert-inspired coffee cups and a beautifully restored Aesop store in Bath, these are the VISI team’s top picks of the week.

1. Colourful Basketball Court

“I just love this mural created by artist MADSTEEZ on a basketball court in Harlem, New York City,” says Online Editor Lindi Brownell Meiring. “The refurbishment was done in collaboration with Mountain Dew and NYC Adopt-a-Park.”

4. Diébédo Francis Kéré’s Wooden Pavilion

“This beautiful wooden pavilion, designed by architect Diébédo Francis Kéré, is built from sustainable timber and was planned with meditation and gatherings in mind,” says Managing Editor Samantha Charles. “The vertical logs making up the structure will also interact with natural light, creating ethereal rays within the space.”

5. Aesop Store in Bath

“I’m besotted with the new Aesop store in Bath,” says Editor-in-Chief Sumien Brink. “ I especially adore how they so carefully restored the features of the old Georgian building, even finding a hidden staircase and a covered fireplace!”
